Tu problema

Script de información inalámbrico

El método más fácil y completo de recopilar información para ayudar a diagnosticar problemas inalámbricos es ejecutar el script de información inalámbrica que creamos en los foros de Ubuntu para recopilar toda la información más común necesaria mientras enmascara todos los datos confidenciales .

Abra un terminal con Ctrl + Alt + T y ejecute estos comandos:

wget -N -t 5 -T 10 https://github.com/UbuntuForums/wireless-info/raw/master/wireless-info &&
  chmod +x wireless-info &&
  ./wireless-info

Esto creará el archivo "wireless-info.txt" en la ubicación desde la que se ejecuta y, dependiendo de su tamaño, un archivo adicional llamado "wireless-info.tar.gz". La información sensible como las direcciones MAC y las claves WPA / WEP se enmascaran automáticamente.

Si no puede conectarse a Internet con el sistema afectado, incluso a través de una conexión por cable, tendrá que mover archivos entre él y un sistema conectado a Internet. Un dispositivo USB probablemente sea el método más fácil para esto.

¿Qué información necesitamos? Esto:

  • ¿Qué has intentado? ¿Qué pasó cuando lo intentaste?
  • ¿Qué quiere decir con "no funciona"? El applet del indicador parece mostrar conectividad pero no puede acceder a ninguna página web. El applet indicador está congelado? ¿No presente? ¿Puede seleccionar una conexión desde el applet indicador, pero la contraseña para esa conexión no funciona?
  • ¿Cuál es la marca de su máquina y qué versión de Ubuntu está ejecutando?
  • ¿Ha funcionado alguna vez? (es decir, ¿funcionó por un tiempo y dejó de funcionar? ¿Funcionó en Windows pero no en Ubuntu? ¿Funcionó por debajo de 12.04 pero no de 13.10?)

La Guía de solución de problemas inalámbrica de Ubuntu parece estar actualizada, por lo que podría ser un buen lugar para comenzar. Algunos comandos útiles allí:

Si su conexión inalámbrica ya trabajó anteriormente en esta instalación y quiere solucionar problemas de conexión:

  • nm-tool le dará un informe sobre el estado de su administrador de red y cualquier dispositivo conectado.
  • rfkill activará o desactivará los dispositivos de red. rfkill --list listará todos los dispositivos disponibles y proporcionará algunas pistas sobre su estado. Es posible que deba ejecutar esto como root .
  • ifdown y ifup llevarán las interfaces de red hacia arriba y hacia abajo. Si ha cambiado las configuraciones, detener e iniciar (como root) con ifdown wlan0 y ifup wlan0 puede ayudar.
  • ¿No está seguro de cómo se llaman sus interfaces de red? Prueba ifconfig -a

Si no está seguro de tener instalados controladores, averigüe con lshw si su tarjeta inalámbrica está incorporada, o lspci (para tarjetas PCI, menos probable actualmente) o lsusb (para un dispositivo inalámbrico USB). lshw -C network mostrará detalles del hardware en la clase "red", que es lo que quieres.
